Billing Terms & Conditions
By placing an order with RenewLens (“RenewLens,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these Billing Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. Payment Terms
All orders must be paid in full at checkout.
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, FSA/HSA debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and other payment options displayed at checkout.
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD).
Sales tax, shipping, handling, and any other applicable charges will be shown before your order is submitted.
2. Payment Authorization
By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
You authorize RenewLens to charge the selected payment method for the full order amount, including products, taxes, shipping, handling, and any applicable fees.
If you use a third-party payment provider, such as PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, or another provider, you also agree to that provider’s applicable terms.
3. FSA/HSA Payments
If you use an FSA or HSA card, it is your responsibility to confirm that your purchase qualifies as an eligible expense under your plan.
RenewLens is not responsible for claim denials, reimbursement issues, or eligibility decisions made by your FSA or HSA plan administrator.
4. Order Confirmation
After your payment is processed, you will receive an order confirmation by email.
Depending on the service selected, you may receive a prepaid shipping label, a free shipping kit, or additional instructions for sending your frames to RenewLens.
If your order requires prescription information, frame information, pupillary distance, or other details, processing may be delayed until all required information is received and verified.
5. One-Time Purchases
RenewLens does not currently offer subscriptions or recurring billing.
All purchases are one-time transactions unless clearly stated otherwise at checkout.
6. Payment Security
Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party payment processors.
RenewLens does not store your full credit card number.
Our website uses secure technology and industry-standard payment processing methods to help protect your payment information.
7. Failed or Declined Payments
If your payment fails, is declined, or cannot be verified, your order may not be processed.
You may be asked to update your payment method before we can continue with the order.
RenewLens may cancel, delay, or refuse any order if payment authorization cannot be completed.
8. Pricing, Promotions & Availability
RenewLens may update prices, promotions, discounts, shipping offers, or product availability at any time.
Changes will not affect orders that have already been successfully placed and confirmed, unless there is a clear pricing error, payment issue, or suspected fraudulent activity.
Promotions, discounts, and free shipping offers may be limited to specific products, order values, time periods, or shipping locations.
9. Shipping & Handling
Shipping options, shipping costs, and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout or on the applicable service page.
RenewLens may offer free shipping for eligible lens replacement orders within the continental United States.
Estimated delivery times are provided for convenience and may vary due to prescription verification, frame receipt, lens availability, lab processing, carrier delays, holidays, weather, or other circumstances outside our control.
If we cannot ship within the stated timeframe, we will notify you and provide available options, which may include agreeing to the delay or receiving a refund for the unshipped portion of the order.
If you choose to ship your frames using your own label or packaging, RenewLens is not responsible for packages lost or delayed before they are delivered to us.
10. Cancellations & Order Changes
You may request to cancel or change an order by contacting RenewLens as soon as possible after placing the order.
If your lenses have not yet entered production, we will make reasonable efforts to cancel or update the order.
If production has already started, cancellation or changes may not be possible because prescription lenses are custom-made for your specific order.
Even if cancellation is no longer possible, eligible orders may still be covered under our Refund & Return Policy, remake policy, or applicable RenewLens guarantee.
11. Refunds, Returns & Remakes
RenewLens wants customers to feel confident ordering prescription lenses online.
If you are not satisfied with your order, please contact RenewLens within 60 days of delivery so we can review the issue and provide the appropriate solution.
Depending on the situation and our Refund & Return Policy, the solution may include a remake, adjustment, replacement, store credit, or refund.
If RenewLens or our lab makes an error while fulfilling your prescription lenses, we will review the order and may remake the lenses at no additional charge.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
Non-custom items, such as accessories, may be returned within 60 days of delivery if they are unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.
12. Custom Prescription Lens Orders
Prescription lenses are custom-made products created for each customer’s prescription, frame, and selected lens options.
Because of this custom nature, some orders may not be cancelable once production begins.
This does not limit any applicable RenewLens guarantee, remake policy, or rights available under our Refund & Return Policy.
13. Prescription & Customer Information Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing accurate prescription information, pupillary distance information when required, frame information, shipping information, and any other details needed to complete the order.
If prescription information is missing, expired, unclear, or cannot be verified, the order may be delayed until the required information is received.
RenewLens may contact the customer for clarification before processing the order.
14. Billing Questions & Payment Disputes
If you believe there is a billing error, order issue, or product issue, please contact RenewLens as soon as possible, preferably within 60 days of the transaction, so we can review the issue quickly.
We will make reasonable efforts to review and resolve billing concerns in a fair and timely manner.
Nothing in these Billing Terms limits your legal right to dispute a charge with your bank, card issuer, or payment provider under applicable law.
15. Fraud Prevention & Order Verification
RenewLens may cancel, delay, or refuse any order if fraudulent activity, unauthorized payment activity, inaccurate information, or misuse of promotions is suspected.
We may request additional information to verify an order before processing.
If an order is canceled due to suspected fraud or payment issues, any approved refund will be issued to the original payment method.
16. Policy Changes
RenewLens may update these Billing Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
The version posted at the time of purchase will generally apply to that purchase, unless a change is required by law.
