RenewLens allows you to send in your existing frames to have new prescription or non-prescription lenses installed. They provide a prepaid shipping kit for your frames, and once received, they replace the lenses and ship the glasses back to you.
What if I decide I don’t want to proceed after sending my glasses?
If you change your mind after sending in your frames, RenewLens will return your glasses to you at no additional cost.
How long does it take to get my lenses replaced?
Most orders are completed and shipped back within 7–10 business days after RenewLens receives your glasses.
Shipping & Return
Is shipping insured?
RenewLens uses tracked shipping both ways. While it’s not automatically insured, they package your glasses carefully. Contact them if you’d like to add insurance.
Do you send a prepaid shipping label?
Yes. After you place your order, you’ll receive a prepaid shipping label to send your glasses to RenewLens.
Pricing & Insurance
Is it cheaper to replace lenses or buy new glasses?
Replacing your lenses with RenewLens is often 40–70% cheaper than buying new glasses, allowing you to keep the frames you already love.
Do you accept vision insurance?
RenewLens doesn’t work directly with insurance, but they provide itemized receipts you can submit for reimbursement.
Technical & Prescription Questions
Can I replace lenses without a current prescription?
No. RenewLens requires a valid prescription. However, you can place an order and email them your prescription later.
How do I upload or send my prescription?
You can upload it during checkout, email it to RenewLens after ordering, or ask your eye doctor to send it directly to them.
Do you offer a warranty on your lenses?
Yes. RenewLens offers a 12-month warranty on premium lenses, covering scratches and manufacturing defects.
What if my lenses don’t turn out right?
RenewLens offers one free remake if your prescription was entered correctly but something feels off. Contact them within 30 days.
Do you offer blue light, transitions, or anti-glare?
Yes. You can choose from blue light protection, transition lenses, anti-reflective coatings, and more during checkout.
